How do I pay a credit card with a third party cashiers check?

I would like to have my parents pay off a credit card using a cashiers check that they get. So the check is from them, but too my credit card account. Do I have them write on the back of it something like: "For deposit only to the account of" my name, and then my account number? Or are they just going to say sorry we won't take a 3rd party check for payment.|||Generally you can't use a third party check to pay off a credit card. Call the 800 number on the back of your credit card to know for sure.|||They won't accept it.


You can try. They will send you the check back, and hit you with a non payment fee





Not even your parents have a checking account?
