What is a good credit card to have for emergency use only?

My husband and I said that we would never get a credit card, but after a recent business trip 600 miles away, we realized we needed some sort of back up. I am looking for a card with a reasonable interest rate and no annual fee.|||I think creditcardlocators can help you with what you need.

they offer you an easy way to browse and compare over different types of credit cards to find the perfect match.

Whether you are looking to rebuild your credit, have a new credit history or /and earn rewards and points.

just search creditcardlocators on the search engine for more information.|||Usually it is easiest to get one through your bank. THen it is easier to make payments too. I did that and it had the best rates too but i use a credit union for my bank so they arent out to make a ton of money

It is important to build credit though...the easiest way is to buy small things on your credit card and pay them off right away. Credit cards dont have to be a bad thing like some peopel make them sound...they are only bad when you max them out and cant pay them off for years and end up just paying the interest.|||Apply for one at the bank that you do business with.|||Visa and MasterCard are the most widely accepted major credit cards. Check with your bank. Interest rates, limits, rewards, and other terms vary widely based on your credit worthiness and what the bank is offering. Look for something without an annual fee -- although I think most credit cards will be charging annual fees in the not too distant future.

You will have to use the card periodically to keep the account active -- every 3 or 4 months charge something small and pay the balance in full. Otherwise, the account will be closed due to inactivity within a year or so.

The most important thing to remember about credit cards is that they are not long term financing. Don't carry balances. Pay them in full every month and take advantage of the interest free grace period between purchase and payment due date.|||easiest way is to get one via your bank like every one else is saying

i got a $900 unsecured card with my bank WITH OUT any Credit history,Any job

tells you how stupid banks really are

i have my dad pay for his gas then he pays it in FULL

i go with him to get that done|||If you mean a card that you only use in an "emergency" the really any credit card that you get could qualify as an "emergency" credit card.

The key is for "you" only to use it in an emergency. Put in a pocket that's out of the way in your wallet or purse.

For a number of Visa cards, Chase, Citi, GM, etc., go to-
